The approach that I have started taking in #12 to integrate with Gisida at the basic level is as follows.

  • we will have some configs for Gisida (as js, not json) in some file
  • we will import these when we need to use them. In the future these will be loaded dynamically from the openSRP/Canopy objects
  • we will then register Gisida reducers in the reducer registry
  • we will use Gisida redux actions to populate the Gisida reducers, and this will hopefully make the Gisida map component work

@moshthepitt - I was trying to get the Gisida reducers to register but am not having much luck. In a new gisida branch (onaio/gisida@61cffa9) I tried repackaging our reducers/actions/constants in the Ducks format to play nicely with our reducer registry, but it doesn't seem to be adding the new reducers to the store. It's also not throwing errors so I'm not sure where to go from here, ha.

(fd245b2 is an exploratory commit to try and get things working, obviously even if things got working then they would need to be moved outside of the constructor, either way feel free to undo)
