Could you please explain why?

If I implement it in the scheduler, I need to keep the helper add-on to work consistently with it, which is difficult.

You can try this following code:

// get the name of the card's tags
// need to add <div id=tags tags_name="{{Tags}}"></div> to your card's front template's first line
if (document.getElementById("tags") !== null) {
    const tags_name = document.getElementById("tags").getAttribute("tags_name");
    if (tags_name.includes("test")) {
        var w = [1.2879, 0.5135, 4.9532, -1.502, -1.0922, 0.0081, 1.3771, -0.0294, 0.6718, 1.8335, -0.4066, 0.7291, 0.5517];
        requestRetention = 0.9;
        maximumInterval = 36500;
        easyBonus = 1.3;
        hardInterval = 1.2;
    }
}

Using the inspector it seems to be working, but I'm trying to add a display telling me the tag name and it's not working.

This works:

    if(display_memory_state) {
        fsrs_status.innerHTML += "<br>Deck name: " + deck_name;
    }
}

but this

    if(display_memory_state) {
        fsrs_status.innerHTML += "<br>Deck name: " + deck_name + "<br>Tags: " + tags_name;
    }
}

or this

    if(display_memory_state) {
        fsrs_status.innerHTML += "<br>Tags: " + tags_name;
    }
}

don't, any idea why?

edit:
nevermind, just being dumb. It does work, I was just adding it in the wrong place.

Add it inside the this if: if (document.getElementById("tags") !== null) and it will work

I will not implement it in the release version. You can copy the above code for personal use.

I will not implement it in the release version.

Could you please explain why? This is strange to me because it doesn't seem like a very complicated improvement.
Thanks for your work.
