OpenRA does not interact with the original C&C or RA installs at all, so I'm confused as to why you're trying to jam them together.
- Install OpenRA in the default location (not overlaid on another game, that's asking for trouble)
- Remove the whole Documents/OpenRA/ tree
- Run the game
This should completely eliminate any conflicts caused by the cnc/ra files.

Yes you was right... A reinstall helped.. So everything is fine.

Do you have a stray proc.shp (or conquer.mix, which is where it
usually lives) lying around in your install tree?
From the error message, I suspect it's actually finding the RA
proc.shp rather than the CNC one (the RA one isnt animated).

my friend here use vista 32 bit and has an "white screen of death" error
from openra.
