I have tried to reproduce unsuccessfully on two different macppc ...
Eric and I are reworking the scheduler which is precisely what segfaults for you, I'll let you know when the new scheduler is committed, the code is completely different and very likely to kill that segfault of yours.

The new scheduler has been committed, the whole code around this has been rewritten with different logic from scratch, bug should be gone.
