Cleaned up unrelated comments.
This feature is still wanted but it is tricky to implement and we don't have a strong use-case to do it right now. The ticket stays open, we'll reassess in a few months.

we have discussed this with @ericfaurot yesterday and we have ideas about how to do it, it requires a bit of mta rework so this will be a post 5.4.1 thing, but will definitely be done soon.

this is not going to happen, I had envisioned several use cases for this but they all either vanished or could be achieved differently thanks to other improvements.
