That you can run your own bimserver within your company, update whenever you want (new revision every time), create branches, and all the other features of bimserver without directly sharing with the rest of the team.
At a certain point (for example when you put ‘READY TO SHARE’ in the comment box, or some other trigger we still have to think of) that revision is automatically send to another (outdoor, BIG BIM) bimserver.
This creates a network of indoor (little bim) and outdoor (big bim) servers that synchronize only the data that needs to be shared.
