proposal/draft for wording:

"Want to meet fellow Openwhyd users, share an idea, or ask a question? Join the music lovers club"

idea for design:

display a grid of thumbs of members of the facebook group, on the left of the text.

The wording is ok IMO.

I'm not sure about the thumbnails... Maybe just the text? With a emhasis (bold ?) on "Join the music lovers club"

ok for the thumbnails, but I really think that something visual would make it more visible and attractive than just text. do you have other ideas, maybe?

Hmmm let's have a try w/ the tumbnails. Can we dim them in grey/light-grey ?

• to use a megaphone icon as graphic, because it's recognized as a symbol of feedback and community.
• the following wording:

Join us on Facebook.

Meet other OpenWhyd users, share your favorite playlists, submit ideas, and help us improve OpenWhyd for everyone.

(heading and CTA and intentionally redundant)

@Djiit tony, whyd's ex-CM told me that he preferred my wording than andrew's (see previous comment), because it was more "to the point" / not too pushy. (as we don't NEED anyone, we just invite them to join)
