@talldan - glad you're enjoying Orbit :)

LocalStorageSource initializes its internal cache without triggering didTransform events. Think of it like a local database - you probably wouldn't want it to broadcast every piece of data as soon as the service starts.

If you do want to warm the cache of another source from a local storage source's cache, you could do the following:

memorySource.reset(localStorageSource.retrieve());

reset and retrieve operate directly on a source's caches. After initialization, you'll want to stick to using methods from Transformable and Requestable to transform and request data.
