Sorry for the late reply, somehow I wasn't watching my own repository so never got an email notification...
rbegin, rend and codecvt are all C++ standard library features, you need a compiler that supports C++14 to build libloadorder.

I finally managed to update from jessie to stretch....so I have access to gcc-6, boost 1.61 and all the newer features of c++14.
However rebegin and rend were available with boost 1.51 and gcc-4.8 (I did not need a newer compiler for that, I just had to change them to boost::rbegin & boost:rend) -- the only reason a newer compiler was needed was that codecvt was not available.
