brectanus: The cleanup code looks fine. It should execute when the msr->mp pool is cleaned up.
It appears to be a case where the apr_pool cleanup function is not running immediately and thus appears to not remove files. Stopping httpd (perhaps forcefully) may also contribute.
I'll need a better test case to see if this is true, but low priority for now.

bpinto: The cleanup code is running as expected. However it is difficult to know what can happens when disk space if full. Many problems can occurs including bad operation of OS.
