Server download link mentions Mac OS about owncloud.org

As I see things, the Mac OS X is below the heading "Desctop client".
Therefore the Mac OS X - Link points properly to the Desktop - Clinet
download.
Do I overlook something?

The tar / zip file contains the php files, which can be installed on a webserver running on Mac.

Ah I was unaware of this. Ok I removed the reference.

thanks :) it works fine if you only use ascii characters for filenames, as soon as you don't the syncing will mess up.. so maybe good to say it is not supported right now.
