Version number is displayed in the iOS Settings app.

I looked everywhere in the iOS settings and there is no version number. I'm currently using version 1.3

How come your screen looks different than mine? Does this have anything to do with me installing your private version prior to using the App Store version?

Because you are looking in the CloudNotes app and not in the iOS Settings app (the one on your home screen with a gray gear icon).

Oh, ok, that makes sense. Looks like you have done an additional 246 builds, as my version says 1.3 (416) instead of 1.3 (662).
