I'm Jacob Boicken, a Cybersecurity Engineer Studying at Iowa State University.

I am currently stuck behind a CGNAT setup in my apartment, so you'll be having a hard time reaching me.

• Currently: I am the void personified that turned into a homelab enthusiast with an endless electric bill.

• Coding: I love Rust, C, and Python. School taught me *gag* Java and somehow I learned C# along the way.

• OS: I love the BSD and Linux systems. Run them for my servers, network and endpoints.

• Career: I am currently working for Epic Hosting (the EHR company) as a Client Systems Administrator

  • I am basic just a cloud engineering managing the VMs and Applications

• HomeLab: Setting up my own Kubernetes cluster and monitoring it with all through Grafana/Loki.

• Website: Running my github site from AWS Amplify for the fun of it

• GlucoseCloud: Planning to run Nightscout in AWS or Azure to view my bloodsugar from anywhere.
