@pairofdocs Thanks! Humble beginnings :) Can't wait to revisit and devote more time to Unity, still busy wrapping around my head around more C# essentials, I'm sure it will benefit me greatly. Yeah the music is fantastic, I browsed for alternatives as well, as this was used by the course, but it's just fitting perfectly. Arcades..aah the memories :D (Luckily we again have some again here in NL)

@pairofdocs that's so unfortunate, shortsighted and so "new" blizz style I'm afraid...
Yeah, I tried some emerging mods, and I'm really curious to see what BrotherLaz can comeup with amongst others.
Yeah, I've been working hard learning C# atm, just had a presentation today for my class, with the console app I'm building. Started with Unity somewhere halfway this year, now focusing getting the C# basis, both for professionally and, ultimately, to make (and publish someday) that cool game of course ! Quite the double edged sword!
When starting Unity, you are automatically shoehorned into OO development, where I am now learning the basics off.. It's very interesting to go back to Unity and actually understand what the hell I was doing :D My hands-on programming experience dates back to MS Professional Basic so I have to work hard to adopt OO thinking. Making huge progression though! (it's all about time and focus right?)
But the C#/dot.net rabbit hole is deep and wide, contemplating my next steps now that my course comes to an end.
I've totally fallen in love with VS in the mean time. Working with Unity and C# in that IDE is just a blast, especially now that I've discovered more debugging tools. As a gamer, I feel like playing late game factorio, the dopamine level of the monitor, analyze, improve an optimize loop is comparable.
you can check out the C# repo, the unity stuff isn't public atm, latest proto I made is here,

Cheers!

Hey @deegeeooh
There is some potential with D2R Modding, lots of people have been posting mods on nexusmods https://www.nexusmods.com/diablo2resurrected/mods/
But there is a big downside, code edits are more risky in D2R than in LoD. Blizz sent out cease and desists to the early code editors during D2R's alpha
I saw you had made some repos on your github! I'm excited to see other people's code and projects
