@palkan yeah, you are right.
I get it going with the following code.

  let(:user) { create :user }
  subject { subscribe }
  context 'subscribe' do
    before do
      stub_connection current_user: user
    end
    it { is_expected.to be_confirmed }
  end

Hi @zhisme!

You must specify your identifiers and use explicit connect in that case; see https://relishapp.com/palkan/action-cable-testing/docs/channel-specs/channel-spec#specifying-connection-identifiers.

That is:

it "works" do
  connect current_user: user
  subscribe
  expect(...)
end

from action-cable-testing.
