The other dialect xhtml.input(disabled=True) produces , which is okay according to the xhtml specification.

the reason we went with True is support for xhtml where the attribute has a value. Not sure if we need support for empty strings there, could be confusing.

For html the most natural is to use None, since it has the semantic meaning of 'defined, but without a value'. For xhtml it is against specification. Maybe adding None for the html dialect only? Or just to stick with True, so that there is only one way to do that..

None already has a meaning which is: do not include this attribute which is needed for conditionals.
