Probably not. The problem is that compile-command
is a global variable, and it doesn't include the mode. compilation-arguments
is buffer-local, it does include the mode, but to use it you have to be in the right buffer.
You could define an advice for rspec-compile
to change the global value of compilation-arguments
, but it'll likely mess with other compilations, because compilation-arguments
overrides compile-command
, and all other compilations are likely to leave it buffer-local.
So I guess your command is the way to go. Only why you're calling recompile
after rspec-rerun
? I'd think the latter would be enough.
