the doc says "For a given point, determine whether it's bounded by the given polygon." for a point in a donut this point is still bounded by the polygon...

pointing to some javascript implementation is hardly useful; instead you should open a pull request with your implementation in php and include the test cases so they may be considered

I've also found a false positive:

$polygon = \geoPHP::load("POLYGON ((76.81640625 35.960222969297, 91.0546875 21.043491216804, 75.5859375 6.2279339302687, 65.0390625 22.674847351189))", 'wkt');
$point = new \Point("-87.558", "33.4235");
$point_in_polygon = $polygon->pointInPolygon($point);
var_dump($point_in_polygon); //returns true

The polygon is simple and encompasses India, but the point is in Alabama.
