Problem building 5.3 on Debian- and Fedora-based 64-bit systems about phpbrew

Try --patch {patch file} option when installing php(s)?

phpbrew install --patch {patch file} {php version}

Doesn't appear to have worked; I don't see any modifications in the Makefile, at least.

What I've done at this point is when I have a failed build, I go into ~/.phpbrew/build/php-5.3.Y, manually update Makefile, and then re-run the phpbrew install command. This appears to work, though it's not optimal.

ok maybe we can have better design for this.

A patch option will be in the next version 1.9.

Currently I've provided a 5.3 patch for 64bit machines like OS X in version 1.8.
