OutOfMemory when bitmap cache is under pressure about bigimageviewer

I've reduced SSIV's memory usage via mImageView.setMinimumTileDpi(160), cache is used to speed up image loading, not avoid OOM.

How do you think about it?

Usually we have two levels of cache - disk and memory. Disk cache speed up loading images from intenet and memory cache speed up decoding image into bitmap. When you set mImageView.setMinimumTileDpi(160) you are not avoiding the problem. For example: we have an app with the memory cache that take all of our memory except 10MB. Somehow we fill this cache with bitmaps and load a lot of business data(9MB). So there is only 1 MB left. If we exceed this 1 MB with SubsamplingScaleImageView we will have OOM.

Yep, but if your app is only allowed to allocate 10 MB memory, where do you cache the bitmap? cacheing bitmap also take memory.
