I have a similar problem.
In addition to the fact that text is displayed in the upper left corner, I found in devtool that svg text is repeatedly refreshed, while text is not displayed on the canvas.

Does this plugin support pixi 7.x?

html-text version: 3.2.0

I'm experiencing this too. My temporary workaround is to add the following css class to my top-level html file:

div[data-pixi-html-text="1"] {
visibility: hidden;
}

div[data-pixi-html-text="1"] { visibility: hidden; }

This is a good solution, but not enough, since the element blocks the mouse, it's best to add pointer-events:none;

This is fixed in v3.2.1, you don't need that CSS hack anymore.
