I've got registry reading working, which was quick to get, thanks Joachim. I need to implement right mouse click tagging, and then preview reporting and reporting... Not too bad for a few days work.

Got everything working except for generating the preview report (started but not finished), saving tagged content, reshowing tagged content when switch keys/values, and then publishing the report. Once done, I will release a v0.5 with qt removed and fox toolkit in it's place.

tagging is saving when switching between keys and values. working on preview and publishing the report. I am going to try and generate a pdf for the preview using either libharu or libpoppler and see how it goes. then i will allow publish to be html or pdf. I could try drawing text to a canvas/image, etc... but that is something i am never very good at and would rather implement pdf for the preview first.

publish for plain text is working, since i moved preview to plain text...

starting on html report generation now, then i will release registry viewer 0.5. I decided against the pdf preview and save, since i ddn't really like it too much. but i can use libpoppler-cpp to get a pdf viewer, if i decide to migrate wombat forensics to fox toolkit.

went with plain text preview.and publishable to html or plain text. it should be ready to replace qt, i just need to so how the exectuable works on a clean system and what is missing for an installation to occur. Then i'll replace the qt version with this version. I could edit the makefile for debug to more cllosely match release to probably get qt working better for the release version without having to do double debugging, but the aspect of getting code in debug working and having it ail in release is just annoying, so I like the simplicity of fox better anyway than qt.

the executable seems to work without fox or libregf installed.
