After taking a look at your repository, it looks like you are hosting your compiled website yourself?

Analytics, by default, only run in "production" mode. This is so you don't track hits from your localhost environment. Jekyll doesn't really have a "production" mode - I take advantage of the fact that GitHub Pages automatically sets the configuration variable safe : true .

When you host on your own, you have to make sure to run the generator with safe set to true. Note that the usage of safe is actually to disallow plugins from running, but you don't have any plugins so thats ok.

safe can be set explicitly in your _config.yml file simply as safe : true but you can also do it through the command-line as you compile your blog:

$ jekyll --safe

Let me know how it goes.

from jekyll-bootstrap.

Thanks, I just modified my post-receive hook to generate using --safe and everything's working fine.
