missing channel list when connecting to bip about yaaic

Yep, some logs would be helpful. I'll try to install bip here too and do some debugging.

Seems like to be a bug in the underlying IRC library.

The server (bip) sends (pocBIP is my nickname):
:pocBIP NICK pocBIP
This forces the nickname to the nickname defined in bip.conf

But Yaaic / PircBot doesn't rename the current user to "pocBIP". Instead it renames it to "NICK" ;)

After that the server (bip) sends the join commands to force the client to join the channels:
:pocBIP![email protected] JOIN #pocmo

As "pocBIP" does not equal "NICK" it's another user for Yaaic and it will try to just post a "pocBIP joined #pocmo" message (but actually it does not find an open #pocmo channel)

Now let's fix it :)

Actually bip seems to send the NICK command without an hostmask and pircbot therefore does not parse it right. Most IRC servers include a hostmask:
:pocmo!~[email protected] NICK :poc^away

This has been fixed in commit 482a0bc and will be part of the next release :)
