Polyend Preset Issue Tracking

This repository exists to enable community members to submit and track known issues with the Polyend Preset. You can submit bug reports as well as feature requests here.

The rules are simple

• Check for duplicates before submitting your bug report or idea. We might get a little grumpy if you don't. First time on GitHub? No worries, the Search bar is right on the Issues page. Just try a few queries for what you're looking for.

• Always refer to the particular firmware version you're currently using. This is crucial for us to determine if the problem is still there or whether it's been already fixed. To save yourself the trouble, look here for the latest published firmware. Your issue might already be addressed! If you're interested in testing beta firmware, read HOWTO_BETA_FIRMWARE.md.

• A clear English description makes it easier for us to understand you. Please don't ignore the provided template!

Attachments

Provide as many attachments as possible with your bug report. We're especially looking for:

• direct links to videos where you show the bug;

• pictures (you can drag them into the edit box when submitting your bug report);

• zipped projects from the SD card.

Feature request : Clocked preset change

Would love to see the possibility to clock the preset module so it switches presets in time.
So, e.g., you could send a trigger once a bar, press the preset you wish and it changes whenever it receives the next trigger.
Maybe with an option that the received gate retriggers automations.

Gate lenght instead of voltage

A new feature

In Gate mode (Green) i would prefer to adjust the gate length instead of the voltage amount. Also because Voltage amount is already covered in the Value-Mode. Like this i could preset different AD/AHR envelope generators. Gate voltage could be 5V.

Feature request: one shot automations

The possibility to choose between looping automation and one shot automation could be useful.
So that after the recorded automation has cycled through, it could stay at the last value.

Slew prevents notes reaching final value

Hello all,

When switching between two presets with two different notes dialed in(e.g an octave)
with slew activated it doesnt reach the desired value.
In fact, if you turn up the slew amount it gets worse.
But, it behaves normal when one of the function buttons are pressed.

1.0.7b1 Recorded notes (cyan light) in CV record mode output something else

Hello,

Just tried new beta-firmware.
Notes recorded with usual (REC+press knob+Wiggle/press pads) process, outputs correct notes while recording, once recording is stopped, the output emits some cyclical low voltage pattern related to recording.

Didn't have time to check if it works with unquantized cvs and gates
