The install-module -Force -SkipPublisherCheck -AllowClobber -AllowPrerelease is just madness.

-Force should always mean just do it.

Just to add to your madness in case this was not enough, make sure you check the OS and PowerShellGet version. Becuase PowerShellGet 1.0.0.1 requires -SkipPublisherCheck -AllowClobber on some versions of Windows 10, but are not valid parameters on the older version of Windows 10 (with the same module version number).

You also can't update PackageManagment and import it into the same session, so that prevents you from just automatically updating that and PowerShellGet before you install the requested module.

Bootstrapping our systems to use and install modules from an internal repo was a very frustrating experience for something that on face value should be easier to setup than DSC.
