You can specify a new since date based on the last result of the previous query for now to get around this limitation. I can confirm this works.

As I said above, the API is returning correct data. Your script is likely misusing it. As the results are not ordered by date, you may need to query in a different way. I would suggest you work backwards from current time in a way that you do not miss any maps.

To me it seems that the dates in his log indeed are correctly in order. Moreover I can confirm this bug:
http://osu.ppy.sh/api/get_beatmaps?since=2010-01-01 returns only maps starting from the end of 2011, but clearly there have been ranked maps in 2010.
