Heya, thanks for your interest. I do get the idea behind only persisting state when chosen properties change.

The problem is that the mutation exposed to $subscribe may not contain sufficient info to know whether to persist the state or not (particularly in the case of direct mutations or patch function types, you can find more info in the api here).

You could eventually do this by watching the whole state (on the pinia instance) and reacting to any changes, but that defeats the purpose of this package to rely on $subscribe (https://pinia.vuejs.org/core-concepts/state.html#subscribing-to-the-state).

Regarding what the package uses and what Pinia offers, I don't think this can be implemented at the moment. :)
