It's odd but you are right, I too can't get createSingleFile.php to work with the version of PHP packaged in Debian Squeeze. It works with newer versions of PHP, but I will look into this in the next few days.

It should be fixed now.
It was working for me when I tried on a new version of PHP only because my local copy of the repository on that host was out of sync and the bug in createSingleFile.php was triggered when I merged the webdis_connection branch into master.
