Looks similar to issue #56 except you are trying to deal with a list and not a set, see my comment on that one. Most likely you are trying to LPUSH on a key that already exists and it is not a list type.

Thanks for your feedback, actually it turns out that I was being quite dumb.. you cant use a redis.get(key) on a list.... you have to use redis.lrange(key, from, offset)... simple problem.. simpler solution :) but thanks for your time!
