It's hard to tell without seeing a code. Do you use the entire module, or you just copied some pieces and try to create your own module?

I just tried to install the module demoproductform as downloaded from here in a newly installed Prestashop 8.1.0.
I wanted to see an exemple of the ActionProductFormBuilderModifier hook, but no success there.

I didn't do any coding, just an installation.

The module seems correctly installed and the position tab show it hooked correctly.

The "New product page" feature is enabled.

According to the code here, if I understand correctly, it should display a new field under the description called "Demo custom field"

But there is no such field in my product form

Is there something else to do, for the content of the hook to be displayed?
