  • I'm not sure if we need two public text snippets. Frab had both and I think while many speakers only filled the abstract, some provided very extensive information and background links in the description.
  • It seems however useful to differentiate between "text that will later be published" and "text for the organizers/reviewers only", do we have that already?

Yes, we do have "notes for the organizers" separately.

I'm (in general) for a shorter and a longer text, but the shorter should be really short. It should fit in a general view of the schedule, in my opinion, opposite to the, well, talk notes some speakers tend to write down.

So I guess I'm in favour of keeping all three (short description, longer notes, orga notes), but deleting the subtitle instead.

Yep, that sounds about right! The short description should take the place of a subtitle.
