Using an iPod2 and iOS 4.2.1 results in connection failure about libpusher

Sorry the first line is incorrect, the api I'm using is [PTPusher pusherWithKey:PUSHER_KEY connectAutomatically:YES encrypted:kUSE_ENCRYPTED_CHANNELS];

Turns out this is not a bug.
I found that status error code -9807 corresponds to an date/time problem

 If you see "Error 9807," check your computer's date, time, and time zone. If they are not correct, correct them.

The device I was testing with must have had an old battery and its clock ended up resetting to 1970. Setting the time again fixed the issue.
