I would be great to have this! Now that the workspace with the build/ folder is attached to the deploy job in Circle CI, would running .circleci/deploy.sh there not be enough? or are there additional permission issues?

I can't make a PR because for this as it wouldn't work from a PR in any case, I think?

I don't think I ever got deploy.sh fully working, but that's the general idea, yes. Just need to work through the details...
