proteoCpp dependency load failing when I try loading proteoQ

I'm running R v4.1 in R Studio v1.4.171 under macOS 11.4 (w/ Xcode v12.4) and when I run:

devtools::install_github("qzhang503/proteoQ")

its failing the load of the proteoCpp dependency. As suggested by the developer I was able to circumvent this issue by cloning qzhand503/proteoQ locally, removing the 2 lines mentioning proteoCpp from the DESCRIPTION file, and then pull from that local place in R Studio. That enabled me to load the proteoQ library, so for my purpose this is not a blocking issue. But hopefully this can be resolved in future versions
