This should have been fixed now in version 4.15.

thanks for your report. I will try to fix this in the next release.
Just add the
|throw ()| declaration where needed until then.

I am not sure if the declarations in special_functions.hpp that cause the errors are actually needed. Does TRNG compile when you remove all extern "C" declarations from special_functions.hpp?

They do compile without the declarations on the systems I tested (Ubuntu 14.04, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.2, and OS X Mavericks with Macports GCC 4.8.2).
