The first step to working together is for us to really get to know you and truly understand your product vision.

We want to understand who you are and how you like to work, in order to build a strong and transparent working relationship with you. To determine if we are a good fit for each other, and to make sure we can rapidly unlock value for you, our strategists and developers will ask a lot of questions to help us understand what you want to build, who you’re building it for, and what key assumptions we’ll need to test once we get the product in front of real users.

Define

Before we begin writing any code, we want to create a clear roadmap and set transparent expectations to make sure we are completely aligned.

We will assign you with a Project Lead and a Strategist who will provide consulting and coaching on your project to set the scope, prioritize features, plan out the roadmap, and outline user experience. They will then tap the right resources (designers and developers) for the project. If you’ve not already done it, your assigned team will help you translate customer/user insights into user stories, and user stories into key features - which will help us define your product roadmap.

Develop

At this point, we will start to dig into the architecture of the project. We will present designs to you and have working software up that you can see and continuously monitor to view our progress.

As we navigate through the roadmap together, we will provide weekly updates and be available to answer any questions help you stay connected to the process as we pilot through any technical and timeline challenges.

Deploy

Once we reach the end of the roadmap and have completed the scope of the project, we are ready to officially launch your product. It is time to celebrate, and to learn, as we see how real users are interacting with the product. This is great, because real-world users will often uncover insights and product optimization opportunities that were non-obvious before launch, but will help make the product better in future versions.

Once we launch and clean up any small bugs or issues that may arise, we will also revisit your plan for how to keep your application updated in the future.

Para este produto, nós utilizamos NodeJS para o backend, aproveitando o poder dos sockets.
Para o aplicativo que opera nas tela touch das máquinas, nós utilizamos o Electron.
Tudo foi construído em cima da framework MeteorJS, que garante que todas as máquinas estejam sempre sincronizadas com os servidores e todas as ocorrências sejam propagadas em tempo real.

For this product , we use NodeJS for the backend , leveraging the power of sockets.
For the application that operates on touch screen machines , we use the Electron.
Everything was built on the top of MeteorJS framework which ensures that all machines are always synchronized with the server and all actions are propagated in real time.

Desafio
Hoje, nas grandes fábricas, muito dinheiro é perdido devido à processos que funcionários acidentados ovem contra a empresa, alegando que esta não os forneceu os equipamentos de proteção individual adequados para suas tarefas. Na maioria das vezes, essas alegações só se fundamentam pois a empresa não tem um sistema de controle e gerenciamento. Além disto, muito tempo é gasto na linha de produção entre as indas e vindas dos funcionários até o almoxarifado para adquirir diariamente seus equipamentos

Today, in large factories, a lot of money is lost due to processes that injured employees move against the company, alleging that it not provide the personal protective equipment suitable for their tasks. Most often , these claims are based only because the company does not have a control and management system . In addition , much time is spent on the production line between the comings and goings of the workers to the warehouse to get their equipment.

Solução
Era necessário a construção de um sistema de controle para a empresa, onde ela pudesse cadastrar seus funcionários, seu estoque e outras informações importantes. Além disto, ela precisaria manter um controle rígido dos equipamentos fornecidos à seus funcionários e uma maneira de melhorar a logística na linha de produção para fornecer e controlar os equipamentos, de uma maneira automatizada

It was necessary to build a control system for the company, where it could register their employees, their stock and other important information . Produto Final
A bornscale, juntamente com a equipe de engenheiros da EHS, desenvolveu uma máquina dispenser robusta, aonde os funcionários se autenticam através de reconhecimento facial e escolhem qual equipamento precisam. O software comunica-se com os motores da máquina pela porta serial, que dispensa o produto e, além disso, comunica os servidores sobre tal ocorrência, registrando quem retirou, o que retirou e quando. Através do painel web, o gestor pode mapear os motores e produtos estocados na máquina, controlar seu sistema de estoque, registrar seus funcionários para biometria e consultar seus históricos de retirada. Tudo acontece em tempo real.

Bornscale, along with the EHS engineering team has developed a robust dispenser machine, where employees authenticate through facial recognition and choose which equipment need. The software communicates with the machine motors through the serial port , which dispenses the product and , in addition, communicates the servers of such occurrence , recording who withdrew , which removed and when. Through the web panel , the manager can map the engines and products stocked in the machine, control your inventory system , record your employees to consult their biometrics and withdrawal histories. Everything happens in real time.

The challenge
Com as crises hídricas atingindo as grandes cidades brasileiras e a falta de água em condomínios se tornando algo cada vez mais comum, era necessário alguma forma inteligente e automatizada de prever este tipo de incidente para que os moradores pudessem agir de maneira preventiva

A empresa decidiu desenvolver sensores que, espalhados pelo condomínio, pudessem monitorar a instalação hídrica do local, como por exemplo o nível das caixas de água e o funcionamento das bombas de recalque. Toda esta informação deveria ser enviada para um software que fizesse o processamento dos dados e os exibisse de forma concisa e direta para os funcionários responsáveis

Pense Tecnologia decided to develop sensors that, around the condominium, could monitor the water installation, and obtain values such as the level of water tanks and the operation of the pump discharge . A bornscale desenvolveu um aplicativo para android que mostra de forma esquemática a instalação do condomínio e atualiza a interface gráfica conforme os valores são lidos dos sensores através da porta USB.
O sistema ainda faz diversas extrapolações com os dados, como por exemplo detectar quando o sistema está operando em uma condição fora do normal, gerando alertas para prever faltas d'água e mal funcionamento da instalação hídrica, favorecendo manutenções preventivas -->

Bornscale developed an application for Android that shows schematically the water installation of condominium and updates the graphical interface as the values ​​are read from the sensors via the USB port .

A AES Brasil tem uma ferramenta para plano de carreira muito interessante. Nela, os colaboradores podem consultar todas as áreas, cargos e senioridades da empresa de forma interativa. O problema é que a ferramenta havia sido construída há muito tempo atrás, sendo de difícil manutenção, apresentando problemas e não implementava todos os requisitos necessários para o sistema.

solução
A bornscale, após algumas reuniões com o departamento responsável, decidiu que seria necessário a total reconstrução do sistema e do banco de dados. Na nova estrutura, os parâmetros do sistema seriam muito mais flexíveis para comportar as constantes mudanças na organização da empresa. Além disso, deveríamos implementar sistemas de busca poderosos para facilitar a usabilidade do usuário ao tentar encontrar a área ou cargo de seu interesse dentre as milhares disponíveis

A Bornscale realizou a instalação do novo sistema nos servidores privados da AES Brasil alguns meses após o início do projeto, disponibilizando a nova página para os contribuidores. Com um visual moderno, de fácil utilização e visando a experiência de usuário, a página atendeu todas as expectativas, recebendo inclusive um prêmio interno pela iniciativa. Além da página para consultas, a Bornscale construi um poderoso painel administrativo totalmente customizado, que possibilitou a AES Brasil um controle absoluto das estruturas de áreas, cargos e senioridades da empresa.
