This happens in my application before jQuery is loaded in an older branch (under production) with some code like var contextRoot = Routes.root_path(). We don't have this in the master branch anymore and unfortunately jQuery is loaded from a Grails application using some integration helpers (we could finally get rid of Grails recently in master, but the old branch still depends on it) so it's not easy for us to apply an hack to include jQuery before js-routes since the integration helper will include all JS, not only jQuery and the other JS depend on js-routes... For now, I'll simply fix var contextRoot = '/', but maybe you'll want to fix this use case in js-routes itself at some point...

@rosenfeld Can you try this fix? https://github.com/le0pard/js-routes Just add in gemfile:

gem 'js-routes', github: 'le0pard/js-routes'

Because I don't have IE. If it will help - will be in pull request.
