In a nut-shell, my teacher found a cheap crashed drone and i was interested in it. My teacher ended up passing the drone down to me and i began working on making it functional again. I attempted Probing the drones circuit breaker to gain control into motor access points, however I had no luck. Then i thought, maybe i can use another remote and set in the same crystal for both the Tx of the remote and the Rx of the drone. My thought didn't last long due to my ambition to actually get it to autonomously fly. I then began by replacing the circuit board with a custom circuit board that i made with components from old electronics. I then used an arduino nano micro-controller to control the rotary speeds. The project was a success, however due to me transporting it to embry-riddle back and forth for advice, without a container, it was damaged to the point where the connections to one of the motors disconnected. The problem was seemingly minor until i realized that the motor was missing an input wire. This project hasn't been a complete failure. After many restless nights, I plan to make this dream a reality once again.
