Hi,
Julia is installed via APT
apt-get install julia
Then to add the julia packages
julia -e 'empty!(DEPOT_PATH); push!(DEPOT_PATH, "/usr/share/julia"); using Pkg; Pkg.add("IJulia")'
And then I make them executable.
chmod -R +rx /usr/share/julia/
I am thinking you may need similar to install your package.
