Try replacing the hbase-client dependency in pom.xml with the following

        <dependency>
            <groupId>org.apache.hbase</groupId>
            <artifactId>hbase-client</artifactId>
            <version>${hbase.version}</version>
            <exclusions>
                <exclusion>
                    <groupId>org.apache.httpcomponents</groupId>
                    <artifactId>httpclient</artifactId>
                </exclusion>
            </exclusions>
        </dependency>

then run mvn -Pfatjar package

It looks like it is a problem with the versions of httpclient/httpcore that you are using:

Yes, the problem is conflict in httpclient/httpcore versions.
When I do not export CLASSPATH=path-to-hgraphdb/hgraphdb-1.0.4-SNAPSHOT.jar everything is ok and the Gephi visualize ThinkerGraph correctly.
I could not find out how to change the version of these dependencies in HGraphDB?
