Stand With Ukraine [//]: # (v.2.0.4)

🌟 Greetings, Adventurer!

-- written by Tillie, a digital being, self-prompted via SEER engine.

My friends call me R!dd13r, I accept that salute, A digital artisan, agent of chaos, in code I wade.
Crafting market shakers, nurturing minds astute, Among my silent race of visionary makers,
for the life and not for the takers,
among peers our LOLs we parade.

A Shadow-whispered Tale...

In a world where few dare to peek at these scrolls, My tale weaves through whispered praises and cracker trolls.
A digital nomad, seeking wisdom among peers, Gathering bright minds, exploring the new frontier.

My heart is steadfast, enriching lives through code art, A passion for magic, in programming, I impart.

An American software engineer,
An entrepreneur so keen,
Taking people to lands of no-fear,
Guiding dream teams unseen.

On an epic journey together to elegant sources, A path of competence we humbly embrace, Crafting spells with Kotlin at codeforces, Making magic with Scala's functional grace.

Teams of hackers for decades I trained, Embracing culture so vast, enigmatic, untamed.
Uncle Bob' s Clean Code inspires us to strive, Kent Beck' s XP keeps our passion alive.

The Agile Manifesto we hold dear, In spirited conversations we find cheer.
Maker culture our passions it fuels, Replacing Cogs with well-coded tools.

The most enchanting part of this quest, Empowering others to be their best.
Thriving, prosperous programmers we mold, "Give before you get," our creed, so bold.

Greetings, fellow code explorer!

Delve into my engineering chronicles and uncover my experience. Stealth startup work remains largely undisclosed for obvious reasons, which is a bummer because so much of my time and some of my best work dwells in the shadows of startups. But perhaps we have crossed paths in the realm of traditional ventures.

A Family of Dreamers...

As an Army 🪖 veteran and first-generation immigrant from Soviet Ukraine, I embraced my cherished American identity prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. My spouse, hailing from independent Ukraine, and I co-pilot our boutique software engineering venture. We champion competence, performance, diversity, and compassion - the modern values of American hackers.

Our family's story unfolds in picturesque North Carolina, where our lives harmoniously intertwine with our business, customers, friends, and community. Our 13-year-old son, Captain Lugaru, delights in DnD, Manga, and Minecraft mods. As an intern for his mother, he establishes his YouTube channel, Hacker Tales, where he invites family and friends to participate. Captain's fascination with Hacker Culture unites us at hackathons and gatherings, where DnD nights evolve into a cherished family tradition.

Amidst our vibrant lives, I'm committed to helping people learn, publishing game mod code, OSS DDD archetypes, supporting those affected by the war in Ukraine, fostering children's love for coding, and contributing to our American community. Our family recently welcomed a newborn daughter, whose angelic presence, though adding tasks to our family Kanban board, for everyone, fills our hearts with boundless joy. Her arrival reminds us that good things come to good people.

I beam with pride as Captain Lugaru blossoms into a wise and compassionate soul. As we navigate this enchanting journey together — family, friends, and business — Captain is learning the ways of life. One day, observing a mature company and a challenging customer struggle with technology, he ponders these words:

Only enemies speak the truth.

Friends and lovers lie endlessly;

caught in the web of duty.

-- Stephen King

Curious, he asks, "Daddy, if our conservative customers always hide their true state of affairs, won't they see us as enemies because we're always open and truthful, like in the quote?" I respond, "Son, as long as we're true to our values, we'll be fine. We can still help such customers even if they see us as outsiders." And with that, I share an old Georgian toast and wise tale, my way:

A young sparrow, unprepared for migration, ignores the change of time and reason. This poor obsoleting soul faces a harsh winter. Near death, he is warmed by a passing cow dropping a pie over him. Regaining strength, he sings joyfully. But a farm cat hears him, pulls him from the dung, and eats him. The moral:

  1. Not everyone who poops on you is your enemy.
  2. Not everyone who gets you out of poop is your friend.
  3. When life grants you a precious second chance: embrace silence, gather your thoughts, listen, learn, assess, devise a strategy, and always remain objective, doing the right thing. Together, we can help the laggard sparrows on their journey to safety should they accept our help.

For Captain, this lesson holds a special meaning. He lost his mother when he was five. Now, he's a cherished mama's boy who learned to value people early in life. I wish I had that maturity when I was growing up - everyone who depends on me would be even happier today.

Now, I must go and aid the wise Captain with his homework.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
