আমার মনে হয় আমরা এই ধাপ গুলা অনুসরণ করে অনুবাদ করতে পারি।

১। প্রথমে সব টেকনিকাল শব্দ গুলো ইংরেজিতে রেখে শুধু বিভিন্ন একশন ওয়ার্ড যেমন "আপনি করতে পারেন" "লিখতে পারেন" অনুবাদ করা। এত টুকু পর্যন্ত অনুবাদ ভাবানুবাদ হলেই চলবে। অর্থাত ইংরেজির অর্থ আর বাংলার অর্থ মিলে গেলেই হবে।

২। বিভিন্ন পরিচিত টেকনিকাল শব্দের বাংলা করা যেতে পারে যেমন pass করে এর জায়গায় কোন কোন ক্ষেত্রে 'পাঠিয়ে দেয়' লেখা যেতে পারে যদি অর্থ একই থাকে।

৩। বিভিন্ন react বেইজড শব্দ কে বাংলা উচ্চারণে লেখা যায় কি না সেইটা দেখা যেতে পারে যেমন কম্পোনেন্ট লিখছি আমরা । সেভাবে চাইলে কিছু কিছু জায়গায় স্টেট প্রপ্স লিখা যেতে পারে। তবে যদি এমন কোন শব্দ থাকে যা আমরা নতুন শিখছি ওই পেইঝে সেই ক্ষেত্রে সেগুলো যেমন আছে সেভাবে রেহে দেওয়াই বোধ হয় ভাল হবে।

আমি ব্যক্তিগতভাবে অটোমেটেড ট্রান্সলেটর ব্যবহারের বিরুদ্ধে না। ব্যবহার করে যদি ভাল ফল আসে করা যেতেই পারে । তবে বাংলাটা যাতে ইংরেজির চেয়ে কঠিন না হয়ে যায়। যেমন চেয়ার থেকে কেদারা হয়ে গেলে সমস্যা। চ্যাট জিপিটি চেষ্টা করে দেখতে পারেন। প্রম্পটে যদি বলে দেওয়া হয় যে এইটা একটা বাংলা ডকুমেন্টেশন + অমুক শব্দগুলো ইংরেজিতেই রাখতে হবে + টেক লিংগো বাংলা উচ্চারণে করা যাবে কিন্তু অনুবাদ করা যাবে না তাহলে বেশ ভাল ফলই দেয়।

আরো কিছু বিষয় যোগ করতে চাই।

১। আমরা চেষ্টা করছি লাইন সংখ্যা একই রকম রাখতে। অর্থাৎ যদি ৩ টা বাক্য দিয়ে একটা প্যারা হয় ইংরেজিতে, আমরা বাংলাতেও সেভাবেই রাখি। এটাতে রিভিউ করা বা যেকোন ধরণের রিকন্সাইলেশন সহজ হবে। সব কিছু একই রকম দেখাবে।

২। আমরা কাজ এসাইন হয়ে গেলেই একটা ব্রাঞ্চ খুলে ফেলব ওই পেইজের নামে। কিছু অংশের কাজ হলে একটা কমিট করতে পারলে সেটাতে একটা PR খুলে রাখব। ড্রাফট হিসেবে। PR খুলবার সময় নিচেই অপশন থাকে ড্রাফট করার। কাজ শেষ হলে ড্রাফটটাকে ready for review করে দেব। একটা কমেন্ট করব যে আপাতত কাজ শেষ। চেঞ্জ রিকুয়েস্ট আসলে সেটা রিজল্ভ করার আগ পর্যন্ত আবার ড্রাফট করে রাখব। এটাতে যারা রিভিউ করছে তাদের সুবিধা হবে। আমরা ডিস্কর্ডে আপডেট দিতে পারি যে এই PR এ কাজ শেষ হয়েছে। সেক্ষেত্রে বাকি কন্ট্রিবুটররা রিভিউ করার একটা নোটিফিকেশন পাবে।

৩। আমরা চেষ্টা করব একসাথে একটার বেশি পেইজে হাত না দেবার জন্য। অর্থাৎ একজন স্বেচ্ছাসেবীর একের অধিক PR একই সময়ে ওপেন না রাখার চেষ্টা করব। এমন হতে পারে যে একটা PR এর কাজ শেষ এবং সেটা রিভিউ হতে হতে আরো PR এর কাজ হয়ে গেছে। তখন আলাদা আলাদা ব্রাঞ্চে আমাদের কাজ থেকে যাবে এবং ইশ্যুতে সেই পেইজগুলা এসাইন করে নেব। এতে আমাদের PR review সরল এবং পরিচ্ছন্ন হবে।

খুব বড় বিষয় যে আমরা সবাই এখানে স্বেচ্ছাসেবা দিচ্ছি। কেউই কাজটা করতে বাধ্য নই। সুতরাং যেকোন সমস্যা হলে যদি আপনার মনে হয় যে এই মুহূর্তে কাজ আগাচ্ছে না, এইটা হয়ত অন্য কেউ করতে পারে। আপনার যতটুকু হয়েছে সেটা শেষ করে PR দিয়ে দিন। নিঃসংকোচে ইশ্যুর কমেন্টে জানান। আমরা সেখান থেকে আবার শুরু করব।

Navigation and UI

We suggest to leave most of the UI translation until the end. We plan to do some invasive changes to the website folder layout and components, so postponing this until your translation is almost complete would make it easier to merge the changes from our side later. It might make sense to translate the homepage above the fold early, but leave the rest for later. As individual pages get translated, you can change the page titles in the corresponding sidebar files. Finally, when you're translating the navigation, make sure to test both desktop and mobile layouts.
