Hi @cooperpellaton, thanks for the info! You're correct that versions cannot be created via this endpoint—but that's not a limitation, but rather by design. We have a separate endpoint for creating versions, which you can find the docs for here: https://docs.readme.com/reference/version#createversion

I'd recommend creating a step in your GitHub Action after your "set version by calver" step to create the version in ReadMe via the Create Version endpoint.

We do have documentation here that describes the version parameter—I just added the word "existing" to make it a little clearer that the version must already exist in ReadMe.
