Refined GitHub actually goes the opposite way and clear-pr-merge-commit-message
clears the field when merging a PR. For the same reason I donβt think commits should all be listed in the main message, especially because the commits are already immediately after the message.

Thanks for pointing to that feature. That feature is indeed about merging a PR, while my FR is about creating a PR.
Your screenshot is a good example where this FR is not useful (one-person-repo) :)
It is useful for when commits are written very descriptive. At least it's a good starting point to create a PR description.
