This is actually a very serious bug.

  1. I don't think he actually writes/commits any line, all his contribution is marked using collate tags.
  2. The ramps are based on their git log numbers directly, thus it doesnt show anything. (There is no way to change that, because file analysis is only done for the latest commit)
  3. This guy only contributes 75 lines, so there's only a small red dot on the contribution bar. (This can be solved by setting a minimum length)

I noticed a few other cases with no ramps. Are they all caused by the same problem?
Short bar is fine as long as it is accurate.

There are 6 cases, 5 of them are caused by this. The other one is caused by a corner case (She only contributed one line, wow), and has been fixed

OK. I guess there is nothing we can do about people who don't commit but tag code using @@author tag.

Closing this issue as most authors who have no ramps in their ramp chart were due to no commits found for given authors name.
