Thank you for your detailed issue, this is indeed a major issue.
I am currently working on this problem, and the fix will be shipped in the next (0.3.11) ReservoirPy version.
As a quick-fix, you can add an unique identifier to the Ridge name, so to avoid memmap collisions. The tutorial you are mentioning now includes the quick-fix, and should now be run correctly.
