I ran your recent check and I get a kernel sanity check error. If you want to change the kernel version from 4.17 to 4.18, here are some suggestions: Please see my Pull Quest.

Thank's to merge my pull request.
But riescv-linux's branch riscv-all commit ID : aef7a9cf2530c4ebabc0c6d2a64ee2100fc6b854 has some compile issue. Because some typo. And I'm just waiting this pull request will be merged to change commit id .
Fix compile issues and add the Microsemi board #142
from meta-riscv.
