Hey, you can create a timer to call the API every second, and have a stream controller and push events to it..

Something like this... (in a stateful widget)

  @override
  void initState() {
    _timer = Timer.periodic(Duration(seconds: 1), (_) async {
      final latLng = await yourApiCall();
      driverStreamCon.add(latLng);
    });
    super.initState();
  }

  @override
  void dispose() {
    driverStreamCon.close();
    _timer.cancel();
    super.dispose();
  }

and then use

    driverCoordinatesStream: driverStreamCon.stream,

Try using this and let me know if this works :D

And of course add these following declarations as well

  late StreamController<LatLng> driverStreamCon;
  late Timer _timer;

Also, just saw, don't forget to initialize the stream controller in the initState();

  driverStreamCon = StreamController();

before the _timer initializes..
