Can you send me the chm file as a test case? Thanks!

it may be a problem with the file itself too, as I noticed that the sidebar
links are
not working either (yet other chm files work well). However, this file was
behaving
well in ichm 1.0
So There could still be something to fix in 1.1

The file was downloaded.

I can reproduce the bullets bug but have no problem with the sidebar links.

humm, I tried again and I cannot navigate with THIS file with the sidebar (it
works
with other files, and THIS file's sidebar links work on another programm)
reinstalled
ichm and the file (new copy). I get the same problem. But let's deal with one
thing
at a time: the bullet issue. I do not want to complicate things. I can open
another
thread later for the sidebar issue (but it seems to affect only this file...)

The character bug is due to the LCID, which indicates which locale the file is,
is
set to 2052 (Chinese - People's Republic of China). So iChm use CP936 as its
default
text encoding. You can manually set the text encoding to Western (ISO Latin 1).

I reproduced the sidebar problem. I will fix it soon.
